Guided Unwind
Shifting unwinds using an edge guide sensor to shift the roll to keep the edge of the web lined up for both unwind and rewind applications. The systems help keep roll handling processes stable and consistent.

For processes requiring multiple unwinds and take-ups, i2i can combine standard winders to feed and take-up multiple webs to provide flexible systems, adaptable to virtually any web handling processes. Combined with our dancer or load cell tension control, we can help keep your process under control.

Simple unwind for unwinding of various products using a lazy loop sensor to pay out material to match either manual applications or feeding downstream applications.

Turret Winder
For roll changes with no or minimal down-time a turret winding system can allow one roll to finish while moving the next roll into position to cut and change the web over.
Roll winding systems can be motorized with AC or Servo motors for precision control.
Using slip rings allows electrical connections to be made on the rotating turret.
